THE MUSKOX BEHIND THE FLANNEL
Wrangell is the “boss-ox” resident at the AWCC, and he makes sure no one forgets it! He’s constantly keeping the hierarchy in line and is always the first one to the dinner table. Wrangell is a muskox who demands respect from every ox in the herd, even his brother.
For every purchase of $100 or more, $10 is donated to support Yukon and conservation of Alaska's muskox herd at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.
Why We Love This Jacket
Perfect Winter Coat!
I have been looking for a coat that can stand up against wind, rain/snow and cold temperatures for hiking or standing on the sidelines of kids' games and this coat checks all of the boxes for me. It fits well through the shoulders and the sleeves are not too long and not too tight as to restrict movement. The pockets are nicely lined to keep hands warm in the cooler temperatures. I was not sure how I would like the hood and I have to say that was probably one of the best surprises - it helps a ton against unexpected wind at soccer fields. I have had the coat for three weeks and love it so far and will report back any other things I discover about it over the next couple months. It will get its biggest test going up to the mountains in a couple months.
I love this jacket
I saw this at the store and tried it on. It fit so well. The sleeves are the best feature. They are fitted to your wrists without pinching while keeping you warm. The jacket is breathable and keeps you temp regulated. Now I'm going to order a hoodie.
Rocky mountain approved
I wore this out in the Rocky Mountains for a cabin weekend and it worked great. The high winds just bounced off this baby and i was kept very comfortable. This is a super cozy jacket and the sleeve thingy around the wrist is great as I never had to adjust the sleeves like I do with my other jackets when I wear layers.
