When You Wear MuskOx, You Support Alaska's Wildlife
We are a community of adventure seekers that recognize the importance of nature and wildlife. Our actions reflect what’s important to us -- and we support wildlife, mountains, lakes, oceans, and forests.
We’re proud partners with the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC), an organization that has worked tirelessly for the last 20 years to preserve the beauty and strength of Alaska wildlife. And yes -- the muskox is our favorite wildlife. We’re not afraid to admit it.
The AWCC builds and nurtures the growing Alaska's muskox population through animal care, conservation, research, and education -- not just for muskox, but 15 other species that make American wildlife stronger.
WILDLIFE & ADVENTURE
When you wear MuskOx, you support wildlife and the active pursuit of adventure. For every purchase of $100 or more, $10 is donated to support the AWCC & Alaska’s wildlife. We will help you look good and feel better by supporting the environment that surrounds you.
BREATE IN WILDLIFE
We Stand With The Muskox
We embrace the muskox as a symbol of strength, community, and survival. We stand together with the muskox, a prehistoric mammal that is loyal, protective, and does what it takes to survive with their herd. The muskox represents the kind of men we make clothes for -- the guys that know when to take a stand, do whatever it takes, and are adaptable to whatever adventure is thrown their way.
Over 1.5 million years ago, Praeovibos, an extinct species of muskox, colonized Alaska and since then the muskox have faced many extinction events. By the 1900s, America’s herd of muskox disappeared and in 1932, muskox were hunted to extinction in Northern Europe.
Through conservation and reintroduction efforts in the 1980’s, American wildlife saw an increase in muskox, specifically in Alaska and the North American Arctic, and now there are over 2,300 living in Alaska. We know that the efforts of the AWCC are making an impact.
Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center
The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife through conservation, research, education and quality animal care. AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals and provides them with spacious enclosures and quality animal care. The Center maintains over 200 acres of spacious habitats for animals to feel at home and display their natural “wild” behavior.
